French singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer Silly Boy Blue shares new post-breakup 80’s inspired banger ‘Goodbye’.

Going through a breakup can often be very painful and even infuriating to say the least, however the one undeniable upside to ending a relationship is the abundant material available for incredible songwriting opportunities. French artist Silly Boy Blue is no stranger to breakups and, as a matter of fact, she tends to make the most out of these situations. Her new single ‘Goodbye’ is the perfect example of this.

With hypnotic synth melodies and a pulsing electronic beat which resembles 80’s shiny tunes of Yazoo and Rod Stewart, Silly BoyBlue’s new track is an immediate earworm. Taking inspiration from the end of a relationship the young up-and-comer says, “Goodbye has been written after a breakup. I woke up one day and I finally saw clearly what was happening. I’ve been in a blur since so many days, and then I realized I wasn’t alone, and I wasn’t in love anymore, and I really felt the urge to move on. That’s the day I was waiting for since the beginning of the breakup. I needed to put this into a song, it was my day one in the movie ‘500 days of summer’.”

The multidimensional new song incorporates elements of the past and combines them with modern production to highlight the artists comforting voice. Allowing the mix between glam goth, emo and bedroom pop to become tangible in her songwriting, SillyBoy Blue presents the ideal track to listen to while taking a long and therapeutic drive to assimilate a ‘Goodbye’.
