Bengal Lancers - 'Morning Light'
Bengal Lancers are back and have made a triumphant return with their silky smooth new single ‘Morning light’.
What started out as a pipe dream amongst a bunch of schoolboys, working hard on the London pub circuit is rapidly becoming a reality for this four-piece with last year’s ‘Last Orders EP’ really announced these lads as one of the indie genre’s brightest prospects.
2020 has been different for everyone, but for these four, it has been the opportunity to be creative and get some new songs under their belts with two singles coming before their latest cut ‘Morning Light’. The track at its core is a good old-fashioned indie-rock song which offers us escapism and the opportunity for us all to relive our youths and reminisce about a time when the world wasn’t upside down.
Nostalgia is very much the fuel in the engine as we take a look back at running after a “night bus” from nights you “barely remember” but never forget at the same time. ‘Morning Light’ is in essence, just a good time to be had by all, something we could all use and continues a very good year for these bright stars.
