Ruby Duff – 'Zoom'

Leeds-based alt-pop newcomer Ruby Duff shares magical new single ‘Zoom’.

Led by wispy vocals and delicate piano lines, Ruby Duff paints images of enchanted forests and mystical lakes with her music. ‘Zoom’ is no different. Fusing the theatrical drama of swirling percussions with the soft touch of poetic lyricism, Ruby creates a whimsical soundscape that grows in magnificence with each listen. It seems, there is always more to discover, a new quirk hidden behind every corner. Talking about the track she says: “’Zoom’ is about noticing what is around you. The people, your feelings, your thoughts, and vision. When you begin to notice the small things and pay attention to both the ugly and beautiful… you could write a novel, a movie, or in my case a song.”

Bursting with creativity and blessed with the voice of an angel, Ruby re-introduces a sense of wonder to the world. Forget cold hard logic and grey men in suits, Ruby’s brand of sound is fuelled by pure imagination.
