The Big Peach - 'Sad'

The Big Peach are closing out a turbulent year with a big slice of jangly, classic rock and roll with their new single ‘Sad’.

It has been quite the three years for this Mancunian outfit, entering a different gear with their debut LP in 2018 and have been taking it up again this year with the band focusing their energy which is typically put into their now legendary live shows into the studio and that redirected energy is proving to be a profound success thus far.

‘Sad’ is the second single to come from 2020 for this five-piece, following in the path of ‘Down So Long’, their new single very much follows in the vein of their established representation as rock and roll straight from the heart that wriggles right into your ear with the intricate guitars and clever lyrics.

The track, though a toe-tapping affair, really doesn’t hold back in its lyrical content, focusing on “modern relationships” which have “materialism” right at their cores and how mental health and a false sense of happiness can also alter these relationships. The perfect track is one that gets you thinking and dancing at the same time, ‘Sad’ is certainly not far off and really closes out a spectacular year for The Big Peach.

‘Sad’, the new single from The Big Peach is available now on all major streaming platforms.
