Sons - 'Sweat'
SONS offer the alternative this Valentine’s Day with the release of their new single ‘Sweat’.
Consisting of brothers Lee and Nick Meldrum, this duo have only been playing together for two years but they have catapulted themselves to be one of the brightest prospects in UK music, managing to channel their anger at the current state of our society into infectious anthems with huge guitar riffs.
The Brighton outfit’s popularity has grown gradually with every release, but with ‘sweat’ being the first on their new label End Of The Trail they’ve managed to take it to another level with ‘Sweat’ being a heavily charged anthem on a superhuman scale.
The duo’s ability to write sharp and catchy hooks is unprecedented, with each passing second proving to be a rollercoaster ride. Speaking about the lyrics, Lee stated that ‘Sweat’ tackles the issue of falling someone who is a “player” and the “inner turmoil” that follows.
‘Sweat’ is a paranoid, intense effort and certainly goes a long way to cementing SONS as one of the best alternative outfits out there.
‘Sweat’ is available now on all major streaming platforms and SONS will play The Lexington in London on March 14th.
