The Band Explains: TOMPAUL - 'Low'

Electronica outfit TOMPAUL talk to us about Prosecco , face paints and filming their intelligent music video for ‘Low’, which explores the feeling of being alone and finding a way of truly connecting in a digitalised world.

Where was the video for ‘Low’ filmed?
The video was filmed at Oederlin Areal in Baden, Switzerland in the Studio of our producer.

How does the video connect with the song?

The connection between the song is this ongoing feeling of being alone and finding way of meeting each other in a digitalised world.

Do you have any behind the scenes stories you can share with us?
The video was actually quite fun to shoot, first of all because it included paintings on our faces. Then the drinking.
There was lots of Prosecco, so that everybody stayed calm and sited on their place. After finishing the shooting, we started a little rave in the studio.

Could you tell us about the ideas/themes/imagery used?
The idea was to combine digital, through all these colourful animations, with the rather cold, distant scenery of the real people in the video.
