The ever-heavenly Cheltenham based festival 2,000 Trees has announced a veritable bounty of bands to help round off its exciting roster for 2020, offering a glimpse of hope in these otherwise bleak times.

Prefacing the announcement with a statement regarding the current crisis, particularly concerning the uncertain nature of the festival — as it stands, taking place in July 9/10/11, approximately 4 weeks outside of the current 12 week isolation period — 2,000 Trees seemed ecstatic to announce a number of incredible acts to give everyone some hope in this turbulent period. Joining previously announced headliner Jimmy Eat World are two incredible Californian bands: AFI (A Fire Inside) and Thrice.

“I was reading that 2000trees was started by a group of friends who said, ‘We want to start a festival,’ and I think that’s amazing." says Jade Puget of AFI. "I wish that would happen all over the world, because there’s less corporate interest... they’re putting bands on the bill that may not yet be able to play those huge events and that’s incredibly important to foster.”

With AFI pending their explosive expertise to the Friday Night, — their first UK appearance in three years — that leaves Thrice to close out the wondrous weekend; and they’re doing it in style. Thrice shall be playing their 2005 masterpiece ‘Vheissu’ in its entirety as a European exclusive, along with some of their other masterful hits. Having just recently toured this in the US for its 15th Anniversary, this European Exclusive is sure to be insane.

Along with these two powerhouses arrives 15 more fantastic additions: Lonely The Brave, Anti-Flag, Against The Current, Royal Republic, Crossfaith, Black Peaks, The Chats, Kneecap, Saint Agnes, Orchards, Chubby & the Gang, Leeches, Beachtape, Gnarlah, and Fresh. These all join the multitude of awesome artists already playing, such as The Amazons, Dream State, Silverstein, Boston Manor, Kid Kapichi, Harry Marshall, Creeper, Young Guns and many, many more!

Tickets on sale now, as various combinations of the three days.
