Belako - 'The Craft'

Spanish superstars Belako continue to build excitement around their upcoming LP with their new single ‘The Craft’.

The four-piece are the hottest musical prospect to come out of the Mediterranean for some time, with the quartet grinding hard in their native Spain for a number of years. Their persistence has been rewarded with their first internationally released album ‘Plastic Drama’ set for release in early May.

Though Belako’s live dates have been extremely restricted with the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, the Spanish quartet will hope that Reading & Leeds Festival in August will be their chance to showcase their talents and ‘The Craft’ is certain to get festivalgoers moving.

‘The Craft’ is a direct tribute to the 1990’s film of the same name, loved by all members of the band as teenagers. The song also looks at the “here and now” and how fragility is vital in helping create new ways to “build ourselves up”.

Belako’s signature punk sound is prominent throughout the two minutes and 40 seconds and ‘The Craft’ is another great insight to what will be one of the best international debut albums this year.

‘The Craft’ is available now on all major streaming platforms and Belako will play at Reading & Leeds Festival in August.
