Cologne based multi-instrumentalist Karl Thesing  shares experimental neo-classical that will make your heart swell on current single, ‘Ghost’.


’Ghost’ is the first single of a trilogy taken from Karl Thesing’s upcoming album which sees him deal with his father’s cancer diagnosis and his sad passing in the Spring of last year. ‘Ghost’ opens with a melancholic and reflective piano melody and sombre strings. As the track develops, Thesing introduces more robust textures, seeing the song throb with ever-changing emotion as he switches between two different moods and conflicting dynamics.

There’s something oddly uplifting and joyful that shines through the sadness and it sounds a lot like love, warmth, tenderness and perseverance, seeing Thesing create a dramatic and inspiring track that documents his family taking on one of the biggest and unrelenting battles and losses of their lives.
