Love is a scary little thing and wearing your heart on your sleeve not always easy. With new single ‘Man In Need’ Swedish singer-songwriter Ulrik Munther gives you a song that says it all.

To an elegant orchestral setting of soft piano and soaring strings, accompanied by beautiful choral backing vocals, Ulrik reflects on his own shortcomings in relationships. His warm, smooth vocals create an atmosphere of intimacy that makes the vulnerability of his confessions even more tangible – “I pull away when I should reach ‘cause I’m scared to be seen as I am.”

Talking about the track, Ulrik explains: “The relationship my girlfriend and I have built together is probably the thing I’m most proud of in my life. It’s also what brings me the most joy. We’ve talked for hundreds of hours and had more fights than I can count. I think it’s important to challenge each other, not only for the sake of the relationship, but to grow as human beings. Of course, there are still times where we fall into old patterns, and “Man in Need” is pretty much me trying to own up to my shortcomings.”
