Sleep Eaters - 'In This Town'

Sleep Eaters long to escape to the wild, wild west with their new single ‘In This Town’.

The five-piece from London are still relatively new to the scene, having only formed at the beginning of 2018, but it has been all systems go since then. ‘In This Town’ is the first piece of new music since 2019’s debut EP ‘Holy Days’, which secured a number of support slots and even chosen to be used in the official guide for the new Tate Modern’s ‘Andy Warhol’ exhibition.

2020 is only expecting to build upon that success, with the quintet supporting Life across the UK later in the year. ‘In This Town’ is the beginning of this new phase for Sleep Eaters but haven’t strayed too far from their spaghetti-western rock n roll roots on ‘In This Town’.

The track in essence is used as an escapism from the hustle and bustle of the band’s everyday city life, the band play brilliantly into their American influences throughout, forming a dreamy landscape of the wild west with ‘In This Town’ not out of place on the saloon jukebox.

‘In This Town’ is available now on all major streaming platforms and Sleep Eaters will support Life at Sneaky Pete’s in Edinburgh on October 26th.
