Sad Boys Club - 'Know Part II'

The new era of the indie darlings Sad Boys Club has kicked on in some style with their latest single ‘Know (Pt. II)’.

This four-piece from London have been grinding away at their craft for some time, but the quartet have quickly become one of the brightest indie talents in the UK over the last two years. That popularity only heightened by the release of their critically acclaimed EP ‘Four Shades of Transitional Phase’ at the end of last year.

The quartet have also garnered a reputation as one of the next great live bands, sadly with the current situation, fans won’t get the opportunity to experience it until later in the year, but support slots for Marsicans and Slow Readers Club will certainly be that extra bit special.

Sad Boys Club’s new era of anthemic elements and deeper instrumental layers has opened up their music to a much wider audience and ‘Know (Pt. II)’ takes it one step further as a ballad that explores the feelings of isolation and separation from the first part.

Lead singer Jacob Wheldon was quick to point out that the song isn’t about isolation, but feeling “disassociated” from the person you once were and how that can bring home some ‘horrible truths’. ‘Know (Pt. II)’ leaves you emotionally drained by the end and allows Sad Boys Club to assert themselves as the band to take over 2020.

‘Know (Pt. II)’, the new single from Sad Boys Club is available now on all major streaming platforms.
