Biig Piig – 'Switch'

Bicultural and Bilingual singer, rapper and all-round storyteller Jess, aka Biig Piig, is following up on the success of her formative EP trilogy with new single ‘Switch’ – an impressive track exploring uncharted territory. 

Combining elements of drum & bass with Jess’s RnB roots, ‘Switch’ showcases a new sound, replacing the mellow vibes of her previous releases with a somewhat chaotic, distorted energy though still in keeping with the Biig Piig aesthetic of extremely personal and vulnerable songwriting – “When did this get hard, when did we run out of love? Say I’m so run down but I know I gave enough”.

Eloquent as ever, Biig Piig proves to be the voice of her generation with 'Switch' being a song "about the tension, helplessness and pressure that the world is under right now. The beat and lyrics to me represents the fast pace of how the world is falling apart, and the anxious undertone of it all."
