Alfie Templeman - 'Happiness In Liquid Form'

Following up on the success of his debut EP ‘Don’t Go Wasting Time’, indie wunderkind Alfie Templeman returns with new single ‘Happiness in Liquid Form’ a world-class pop anthem for everyone with a sugar tooth that makes life feel a little bit lighter. 

Where his debut was low-key and rather laid back this new single is anything but. Bouncy beats and rhythm-infused guitars elevate ‘Happiness in Liquid Form’ to a higher level of carefreeness. Sprinkled with little sonic Easter eggs like soft piano/keys or a final bridge that is pretty much stripped back to an acoustic guitar create an exciting listening experience. And then, of course, there are Alfie’s vocals that, velvety smooth as ever, set him apart from everyone else making disco-pop because it’s so distinctively Templeman. 

Describing the inspiration behind the new single, Alfie explains: “‘Happiness in Liquid Form’ is the most colourful sugary disco-pop song I’ve put out so far. It came about so easily one day in the studio with Justin from the Vaccines and his right-hand man Will and by the end of the day we knew we had something special on our hands. It's a tough time for everyone right now so hope this brings a little happiness into people's lives!” A job well done.
