Toronto-based singer-songwriter Hannah Georgas releases deeply personal single ‘Same Mistakes’, a song that reminds of Daughter in its intricacy.

Where previous single ‘That Emotion’ was bustling with life, ‘Same Mistakes’ has an air of quiet tranquillity to it. A minimalist production of ethereal vocals over steady beats and subtle riffs shines the light on Hannah’s intricate lyricism that finds strength in vulnerability – “I am healing. I wish I could go back and tell my younger self: none of this matters even though it hurts like hell.“ Talking about ‘Same Mistakes’ Hannah explains: “Over the years I've been recognizing patterns and habits I've created in order to protect myself in situations that are difficult. I'm becoming more aware of how much my upbringing has had an effect on me. This song was inspired by learning how to accept the past and recognize when things come up and trying to learn to from them.”
