Following the success of debut single ‘Just Like That’ Liv and Matt Griff, aka electronic pop duo ZELA, release infectious new track ‘Sleep Real Bad’ - written partly in the toilet of a nightclub, and partly in bed dealing with the aftermath, they explore the intricacies of desire.

‘Sleep Real Bad’ comes to life in a reverb heavy, synthy soundscape driven by pulsing beats that create an irresistibly magnetic atmosphere. An air of unfiltered excitement radiates off Liv’s sucker punch vocals and unapologetically honest lyricism – “That boy don’t treat you right and I want to be your girlfriend.”

Talking about the track, Liv explains: “This glitter-soaked confession will propel your serotonin into ‘festival mode’. ‘Sleep Real Bad’ explores the excitement of discovering new sexuality; it’ll have the angel and the devil on your shoulders arguing like never before. This song is gonna make you wanna kiss your best friend and then dance to forget about it"
