South London based artist Darragh Chaplin teams up with FAVELA on exquisite single, ‘Closer’.

’Closer’ takes its time as it stutters to life, seeing Darragh Chaplin and FAVELA create a warm and buoyant electronic backdrop to Chaplin’s pure and sophisticated vocal. While intimate and vulnerable, ‘Closer’ is also a robust song that moves with a gentle determination, flittering through beautiful elemental textures which create an abundance of light and fluidity in the darkest, most confined, spaces.

On the ideas behind the track Chaplin and FAVELA explains, “The track speaks of removing one’s armour and, despite fear and apprehension, allowing oneself to be vulnerable.  The underlying message of community and togetherness offers a sense of poignancy considering the current global climate”.
