Crystal Tides - 'Monday'

Crystal Tides are coming to terms with their coming of age on their relentless new single ‘Monday’.

This three-piece having been ripping up their native south coast for the last two years, really honing their craft and their loyal fanbase in their hometown of Portsmouth before beginning to spread across London with their infectious, arena -ready indie anthems. 2020 is set to be the year for the young trio, already getting tongues wagging with their last single ‘Ex’.

They keep the momentum going with ‘Monday’, on the surface another catchy hit that is led by an indie-disco sound that is hard to shake along to. When you delve deeper, you find these lads juggling with that inevitable “turning point” that we all face of ditching the night outs and facing up to these new-found responsibilities.

Bill Gregory brilliantly paints this inner turmoil with his vocal performance, ultimately leading to them pushing those responsibilities and “having fun” while they can. Crystal Tides’ vibrant youth is felt throughout the track and is the essential lifeblood that makes ‘Monday’ so relatable and enjoyable and one to enjoy over and over again.
