EADES - 'Forget What You Want'

Eades have announced their debut EP with some of their deepest material to date with their new single ‘Forget What You Want’.

This Yorkshire five-piece have been hard at work, with half of the outfit grinding their craft with Caspian but all focus has been centred on Eades with the announcement of their debut EP ‘Microcosmic Things’.

The quintet have become renowned for their juxtaposed alternative sound, ‘Forget What You Want’ is the epitome of that. Despite having all the elements of an indie summer classic, ‘Forget What You Want’ is undercut with serious sentiment with vocalist Harry Jordan teaming up on lyrics with a long-term friend who’s struggled with addiction over the years.

‘Forget What You Want’ doesn’t hold back, focusing on how dark moments are “more formative” than the happier times as they linger and “twist you”, showcasing the band’s writing talents to take something so raw and deliver the message in such a “colourful way”. It is yet another striking piece from this Leeds five-piece and set to be a highlight on one of the best EP’s of 2020.

‘Forget what You Want’ is available now on all major streaming platforms and Eades’ debut EP ‘Microcosmic Things’ is set for release on July 10th.
