Pacific - 'Last Life'
Pacific are daring to go beyond anything that they’ve done before with the bold new single ‘Last Life’.
The alternative, piano-rock sound of this Manchester four-piece has promoted them to edge of mainstream glory over the last year or so, with 2019 being inundated with firsts for the band including a memorable performance at Y Not Festival which was voted for by the public.
2020 started off brightly for the quartet with the release of the lauded single ‘Idols’, their plans have been skewed slightly including their long-awaited home headline show at Manchester’s Gorilla. That and many of their upcoming dates have been pushed towards the end of the year, with fans in the likes of Liverpool and Newcastle already to get down to Pacific’s unique sound.
Produced by David Watts (Kaiser Chiefs), ‘Last Life’ is Pacific’s most daring and ambitious project to date as they create a world, a doomed fantasy where life consists of staying out of the way of one individual but while it’s that interaction that makes you feel most alive. Though intense, Pacific keeps that funky infectious which they’ve become known for and ‘Last Life’ feels like the moment that this four-piece break through the glass ceiling.
