Llovers continue to rise the ranks as indie’s next big thing with their dreamy new hit ‘I Don’t Want to Be Alone’.

This five-piece are one of the staples of Teesside’s emerging music scene, continuing to build on the ever-growing popularity of their glistening, pop-influenced indie anthems. 2019 was a big year for LLovers, gaining national exposure for their lauded debut EP and the once in a lifetime opportunity to play their hometown of Middlesbrough at Radio 1’s Big Weekend. With limited opportunity to flex the muscles of their party-like live show, 2020 has solely been focused on the music for Llovers. Gearing up for another EP in the right way by taking us all the way back to their beginning with the previous single ‘Feeling Sound’.

Aptly named for the situation we all find ourselves, ‘I Don’t Want to Be Alone’ has been in the band’s setlist long before lockdown was enforced and pays perfect tribute to the lads themselves and to the support and comradery that comes with being in a band, but also how that can lead to anxieties around loneliness.

Though it touches into more of the emotional side of this band, the glistening pop goodness that Llovers have become renowned for is prominent right throughout. ‘I Don’t Want to Be Alone’ is the perfect track needed to lift the spirits of many and keeps Llovers right on track to be one of the next big things to come from the North East.
