Boy Pablo – 'honey'

In the runup to his highly anticipated debut album ‘Wachito Rico’ (October 23rd), Norwegian bedroom pop star boy pablo (aka Nicolas Muñoz) shares a double dose of good vibes with new single ‘honey’ and b-side ‘jd’s song’.

These two tracks make the perfect summer combo. While ‘honey’ thrills with laid-back beats and a soft, relaxing atmosphere, fan favourite ‘jd’s song’ is all about those dazzlingly bright guitar lines and infectious grooves. The British summer has nothing on these blinding rays of sunshine. Sit back, close your eyes and let boy pablo make you fall in love with life all over again. Quite fittingly ‘honey’ is a sugary sweet love song. As Nicolas explains: “The track is about how a relationship moves between the bad and the good times, but even through the bad times the mutual love you've built and the fascination you have for each other never fades away, and you choose to stick together through it all.”

Both songs fit right into boy pablo’s unique brand of woozily romantic indie-pop that combines the irresistible nostalgia of sun-kissed 60s melodies with subtle nods to his Latin-American background. The excitement is very much real for boy pablo’s upcoming debut album. Bring on October!
