Novo Amor – 'Opaline'

Welsh producer and multi-instrumentalist Ali Lacey, aka Novo Amor, announces his second album ‘Cannot Be, Whatsoever’ alongside new single ‘Opaline’.

Novo Amor literally translates to New Love and that’s exactly what this single feels like: Falling in love. Coming home. Intricate piano lines and bright melodies create a soothing atmosphere while Ali’s emotive vocals give the track a rosy colour. ‘Opaline’ sounds like infinity, as if its delicate yet incredibly rich soundscape could stretch on for miles. What makes the track come full-circle though is its final chorus that sees ‘Opaline’ pick up speed and soar into the atmosphere with a final burst of light – “I feel like I’m finally me.”

With this first track, Novo Amor fuels excitement for his upcoming sophomore album ‘Cannot Be, Whatsoever’ that promises to be absolutely magical.
