The Satellite Station - 'Come Home'

The Satellite Station maturely explores the hopelessness of holding on to a relationship that has run its course on touching indie folk single, ‘Come Home’.

The Satellite Station shies away from self pity on , ‘Come Home’ seeing his confessional and heartfelt storytelling warmly spill out alongside a bubbling guitar rhythm, ambient nuances and poignant keys. ‘Come Home’ reaches a rousing and subtly stomping chorus which taps into familiar airy indie folk pop melodies accompanied with taching promise, “I will hold hold my breath ‘til you come home”.

Talking about the track, The Satellite Station explains, “This song is about something we can all relate to, the end of a relationship. The view you see in this song is from the person who can sense something is wrong, but doesn't want to believe it because that would mean the end. So instead of accepting it, they do the opposite and try to unsuccessfully fix the relationship.”

‘Come Home’ is a tender and controlled approach to working through the emotions felt when holding on to what is no longer meant for you.
