Hauskey - 'Slow'
Australia’s next great export, Hauskey gives the listener quite the kicking on his debut single ‘Slow’.
Presiding in Perth, Andy aka Hauskey has already had quite the musical journey. From studying at the prestigious Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts, starting his own music school, trying to making it big in London to heading back to his homeland, he has already lived more than many people do.
Much like his life, Hauskey makes his own music his own way, his DIY ethos has shown success on the golden coast and that seems to be finally prevailing as ‘Slow’ marks his jump into the international market.
The beauty of ‘Slow’ is that is has endless possibilities and charm, taking inspiration from the likes of fellow Australian Tame Impala whilst giving the listener a much-needed kick with a very groove-heavy sound that leaves ‘Slow’ lingering in your head long after. Hauskey is certainly an act and a person that knows no limits, which feeds perfectly into the music to make one of the best debuts of the year.
