Bike Club - 'Heart Beating'
Bike Club are showing that they’re heading in the right direction with their melonic debut single ‘Heart Beating’.
Led by Eric Warner, Bike Club is far away from what we’re used to seeing from Warner, having performed in punk and hardcore outfits previously. This new project marks a new direction for Warner as he looks for an outlet and lands in catchy melodic pop songs as ‘Heart Beating’s is the beginning of a collection of songs which will form the band’s first EP ‘Find Romance’.
‘Heart Beating’ is a very simple affair, taking inspiration melodically from two of Warner’s favourite bands The Inbreds and Sloan. The track pays tribute to his wife in a track that is powered by crunchy chords, melodies and harmonies which wraps up a perfect pop track. It’s hard not to like something that is so catchy and rousing in its sound and also its lyrics and it is the perfect start to what is expected to be a long and prosperous career for Bike Club.
