Manchester hotshots Corella are going bolder and darker than ever before with their new single ‘On Wax’.

This four-piece have been going from strength-to-strength since forming way back in 2016, amassing a large number of loyal fans and religiously honing their craft both in the studio and on the stage to become of the North West’s and the country’s most exciting guitar bands.

‘On Wax’ is the band’s second single of the year, but their latest cut takes a totally different avenue to previous single ‘Puppets’, taking a deeper exploration into a darker, bolder sound and energy that the band haven’t experienced previously.

‘On Wax’ was actually recorded in the back end of last year, but it took until lockdown to be able to put lyrics to it and it showed as the listener sees this band come from a “place of frustration” in its lyrical content with a feeling of “nothingness” and being “cemented in the ground”.

It many have taken longer than anticipated for ‘On Wax’ to see the light of day, it has proven to be worth the wait as Corella produce a bold track that perfectly captures the feeling of the world right now and further cements the Manchester outfit as one of the next great guitar bands.
