SWAN pulls no punches in his cut throat offering into neurosis, as he explores the themes of the pressures of life weighing heavy on your soul. It’s a dark and deranged track with raw, relatable storytelling. There’s familiarity here that reminds me of a mash up of influences from Eminem to Insane Clown Posse to Linkin Park with whispered segments that reminded me of Drowning Pool - ‘Bodies’, but it’s clear that SWAN is carving out his own identity.
On the ideas behind the track SWAN explains, “A Trap banger of mental anguish, wrapped around a person who is trying to make their way through the world with a sprinkle of paranoia at the end.”.
’Crack’ sees SWAN delivers a horror story of being trapped in personal hell. It’s fun, fresh and a little damn freaky.
