‘No Good Reason’ is instantly infectious. To the upbeat tone of bouncy, groove-infused guitars, Kiara Jordan reflects on a difficult time in her life: “This is a song about a lesson I had to learn in life - you can't change people,” she explains. “I wrote this at a time in my life where my relationship no longer felt like a 50/50 effort, and I was trying too hard to change who he was to fit my standards. It taught me how to be patient and acknowledge the differences in the way people show love.”
Despite the track’s complex emotional landscape, there is a beautiful sense of hopeful optimism radiating off Kiara’s sweet vocals that leaves you with a light heart. You live and you learn is the motto – sometimes, you have to learn the hard way, but you always come out stronger and wiser.
