EVER - 'Counting Flowers'

Alt-pop songstress EVER unveils the music video for her new dreamy single “Counting Flowers”. Though quite early on in her career, EVER has certainly made a mark.

Orchestrated through the lens of a vintage camera, the video elicits warm tones of nostalgia, deeply complimenting the sentimental value of the song’s meaning. It’s stunning and it’s organic, but most importantly - it’s authentic. And that’s something that’s not often achieved as effortlessly as EVER does.

Although “Counting Flowers” is much more mellow than much of her discography, through the unique combination of soft vocals and blissful accompanying video, her music remains just as enchanting and energising.

‘“Counting Flowers is very much inspired by the role reversal that takes place when loved ones get older”, EVER explains. “The lyrics narrate the relationship I’ve had with my Grandmother, who’s always been a strong female figure in my life. She nurtured me from a baby, right through adulthood. I have been shaped by her values and unconditional love. This song is a love letter to her”.
