Jimmy Herrity - 'Try To Forget'
Jimmy Herrity is flying out of the blocks to become of the country’s indie taste makers with his debut single ‘Try To Forget’.
Hailing from Brighton, Jimmy has been around music for some time playing in up and coming indie and pop prospects across the South Coast, but the time has come for him to forge his own path and using music as a “dramatic diary” seems to be the winning formula for Herrity.
Jimmy is heavily inspired by films, life stories and events just as much as music, however the talent lies in how he manages to squeeze everything out of himself in terms of emotion and put into his songs and ‘Try To Forget’.
‘Try To Forget’ is focused on an individual and their stream of consciousness and their lack of ability to be alone within in their own head. It certainly goes deeper than that as Herrity looks at how people take on “unimportant things” way too easily and how it’s “easier to forget” all the bad things in the world. You very rarely see a debut single that is so polished and so deep and is really the start of something special for Jimmy Herrity.
‘Try To Forget’, the debut single from Jimmy Herrity is available now on all major streaming platforms.
