Tommy Newport - 'Yellow Lines'

Get ready for quite the trip with rising star Tommy Newport as we enter a kaleidoscope of sound with his new single ‘Yellow Lines’.

Starting life in Manchester, this youngster has already had quite the life, hopping across America from the age of six before settling in Kansas where he first picked up a guitar as a teen and his life hasn’t been the same since. Newport’s fearless debut ‘Just To Be Ironic’ in 2018 earned plaudits on both sides of the Atlantic and that sense of fearlessness continues to be a major part of Newport’s artistical arc with no sound being out of bounds.

‘Yellow Lines’ is a perfect example of that, produced by frequent collaborator 4th Pyramid who perfectly capture a classic Brit rock essence similar to The Rolling stones and totally spin it on a different axis with a plethora of trippy guitars and bass which distorts your mind, body, soul, and mainly ears.

inspired by not losing focus on the highway, that seems the best way to describe this song, you can’t take your ears off it for one second for the fear being sucked down a sonic sinkhole from which you’d never return. ‘Yellow Lines’ is a track that needs to be experienced multiple times to be believed and sets up the sonic chameleon Tommy Newport to have a truly memorable year.
