Rising Norwegian singer Marie Noreger gives food for thought on new single ‘Bullshit In Disguise’.
To a backdrop of magnetic beats and laid-back rhythms, ‘Bullshit In Disguise’ serves blurry R&B with a pinch of realism. Marie’s soulful vocals are laced with a cutting cynicism as she confronts a superficial society - “I wonder how you sleep good at night.” Talking about ‘Bullshit In Disguise’, she says: “The inspiration behind the track is more or less about a free-minded person living in a square narrow-minded society, having trouble facing false values and time, etc.”
‘Bullshit In Disguise’ is the final single released in the runup to Marie’s debut EP. Following equally immersive tracks ‘Eager To Feel’, ‘Soulfully High’ and ‘Adore’, it paints a vivid image of Marie Noreger’s ability to craft captivatingly cool sonic landscapes that stretch for miles and miles.
