18-Year-Old Denis Coleman’s ‘Tangerine’ gets a new dynamic and vibrant sound with the help of chart-topping producer duo Billen Ted in new remix.

Now that the summer is here, listeners are on the lookout for the next big summer tune, something they can play while hanging out by the seaside, a sound that seamlessly blends with the party vibes at the park, something upbeat that will make your hot commute better. With this in mind, up-and-coming singer/songwriter Denis Coleman and chart-topping producer duo Billen Ted (Tom Hollings and Sam Brennan) just understood the assignment.

Their collaboration for the new remix of Coleman’s song ‘Tangerine’ exudes lively summer vibes with an electronic production that highlights the nostalgic and confessional lyrics by the 18-yea-old artist. At the same time, the track manages to combine the retro feeling of funky synths with a fresh take on modern electronic production that will leave you wanting more.

About the remix, Denis says, “After a couple of days writing with Billen Ted at their studio, I convinced them to remix my new track Tangerine and I am absolutely loving their take on it. Tangerine (Billen Ted Remix) is somehow retro and distinctly modern at the same time, lending a subtle brush of nostalgia to the current mainstream British dance sound. Their funky aesthetic blends with my introspective yet summery lyrics for a catchy, quirky take on the typical summer banger. For the best listening experience, turn it up on your speakers while sipping a drink with a slice of tangerine in it”.

Having just worked on one of the hottest tracks of the year, Nathan Evan’s ‘Wellerman / Sea Shanty’, Billen Ted have an immaculate record that has attracted multiple collaborators like MNEK and Mae Muller. They certainly have an ear for catchiness and when you pair that up with really nice lyrics like Coleman’s, who just announced his second EP coming out in October, you certainly create something interesting and fun that listeners will bop their heads to.
