Great Barrier - 'Prune (Here On)'

Great Barrier is the debut solo project from New York musician Jackson Firlik - declaring his sonic identity with new single ‘Prune (Here On)’. 

Blending a mixture of pop and strong electronics, Great Barrier pushes the boundaries of each genre to the full. Spawning something that would sit nicely on a Jamie XX or Radiohead album all at the same time. The slow burning but naturally progressing track tells the tale of isolation through hard hitting percussion and cinematic melodies. ‘Prune (Here On)’ has a unique chill indie vibe coming off it, which provides the ideal platform for one of the most captivating voices we have come across in this genre to truly guide towards it’s full potential.
