Alternative trio Calva Louise have released their forthcoming album EUPHORIC which is an explosive record which knocks it out of the universe.

Calva Louise have been indie darlings and a must see band in the underground music scene but with their new EUPHORIC this is the album that can launch the band to a world stage. EUPHORIC showcases Calva Louise’s eclectic sound which combines searing guitar hooks, futuristic fuzzy bass lines and eruptive drumming. With a influence of graphic novels and sci-fi movies Calva Louise have created their own art which stands out from other artists.

EUPHORIC starts with the song Free To Be Lost which feels like a song perfect for fight scenes in a Marvel Movie, the song is fast, hectic and kicks some serious ass. The album then really does show off the Venezuela roots in the band with the single Tiranito which is all sung in hispanic. Tiranito is a fine example of some of the songs propelled by being sung in a foreign language, it just adds so much depth and intrigue to the album.

Some of the real highlights of the album include the single Trial which features a heavy rock chorus but has some wonderful free flowing pop melodies. Other highlights of the album are POP(urri) which has some unbelievable vocals merged into a punk sound. Ephemeral (Ft. Blakeeleven) shows off the sci-fi movie influence the most with some fantastic production which sounds like a journey through the galaxies.

Overall EUPHORIC has been a great success, the album truly does sound like music from another planet. EUPHORIC will most definitely appeal to mass audiences who will be in a trance with this piece of art.
