LA-based newcomer soft boy mehro shares inspiring new single ‘coastline’, a warm call to leave our fears behind and pursue what makes us happy.

“Fear means nothing’s gonna change” is the bold and enlightening statement made by LA-based singer/songwriter mehro. After having an incredibly quick “rise to fame” with a big jump on social media following, thanks to beautifully honest singles ‘hideous’ and ‘perfume’, the young artist has seen the doors of the industry open wide to welcome him amongst the new class of post teen pop west coast rising stars.

With several millions of streams under his belt, mehro continues to confidently step into the lo-fi pop scene wearing his heart on his sleeve or as Harry Styles once said, with crisp trepidation. This new single not only furthers his artistic vision but it also showcases his almost ethereal vocals which capture the listener’s ear and pull them into what feels like a musical hug. By sharing such intimate thoughts, the newcomer is creating a universe of self awareness and acceptance for his fans who will now hear the words “more than perfect, you’re unique. We’re born to be bold in this life” in ‘coastline’.

Having been championed by the likes of NPR, Wonderland, and Line Of Best Fit, mehro is starting to make waves internationally and it is just a matter of time before his fanbase develops globally. His music beyond incredibly confessional also blends multiple genres’ influences from punk to trap which will ultimately allow him to stand side by side with the likes of Sufjan Stevens and Rufus Wainwright while crossing over into other musical worlds. A truly exciting and promising breakthrough artist worth keeping a close eye on.
