Fetch Tiger - 'Brand New'

With their debut EP due to drop later this year, indie pop duo Fetch Tiger have given us the first taster in the form of new single ‘Brand New’. 

Soaked from top to bottom in groovy melodies and silky vintage guitar tones - the track was inspired by a scene from Hulu’s Normal People. As it follows an encounter between the narrator and his former crush at a school reunion. With cool keyboard riffs paired with a groovy baseline - the narrator longs for his old friend to acknowledge his transformation, hoping it will be enough for her to see him in a new light.

The song was recorded in London’s Strongroom Studios, produced by Music Producers Guild’s 2021 Breakthrough Engineer Of The Year nominee, Grace Banks, and mastered by Matt Colton (Arctic Monkeys, Coldplay).
