Wide Awake Festival 2023 // Top Three Artists To Check Out

It is not long until Wide Awake Festival takes over Brockwell Park - where it hosts a number of rising stars within the creative world - both musically and culturally. Wide Awake prides itself on their dynamic celebration of independent music and counter-culture featuring leftfield indie, post-punk, electronica, techno and everything in-between.

So we give you our top three live sets to check out.

Caroline Polachek
The key festival headline for Wide Awake - Caroline Polachek will put on a spectacle to beyond when she performs. Having graced us with her new album ‘Desire, I Want To Turn Into You’ on Valentines Day this year - Polachek’s profile has grown exponentially since launching her solo career – landing her everywhere from the direct opening spot on Dua Lipa’s 2022 North American Future Nostalgia Tour, Coachella, Lollapalooza, Glastonbury, Primavera, All Points East, Governors Ball, Pitchfork Music Festival and Outside Lands, along with late-night performances on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and The Late Night Show with James Corden. Standout viral tracks like “So Hot You’re Hurting My Feelings,” have contributed to the album’s 175M global streams and counting.

Los Bitchos
Undoubtedly one of the breakthrough bands of last year, the London-based, internationally assembled female instrumental band, Los Bitchos have had quite the year so far. Having been special guests on the King Gizzard And The Lizard Wizard tour back in March and appearances at Coachella. 2022 was also a huge year of touring for the band - who played well over 100 shows across 20 countries since the release of their debut album. The quartet played standout performances at SXSW, Primavera Sound, Rock En Seine, Latitude, Green Man and Mutations Festival, support slots with Franz Ferdinand and Pavement, culminating in a sold out headline show in December at Heaven in London.

Enumclaw
Washington’s rock heroes Enumclaw announce their Europe Is Doomed Tour for 2023, in support of their recent critically-acclaimed debut record Save The Baby. The long-awaited tour will see the band play shows across the UK and Europe, including a night at London’s Moth Club and a set at the next edition of Wide Awake Festival.
