NOAHFINNCE - 'TOO SENSITIVE'

What better way to celebrate a birthday than releasing a music video?

U.K. alternative rock singer-songwriter NOAHFINNCE just released his latest single “TOO SENSITIVE” on August 17th, with his music video coming out a day later on his birthday!

Now back from a year and a half tour hiatus, Noah will be back on tour starting October 22nd, and will be supporting Twenty One Pilots alongside BBNO$ and others on August 30th at All Points East Festival in London on August 30th.

Speaking on the single, Noah stated, “I’ve not been THIS excited to release a track in years. “TOO SENSITIVE” feels exactly how all my favourite songs growing up made me feel - like being kicked in the teeth.””

NOAHFINNCE is an avid advocate for Mental Health and LGBTQ+ rights, and speaks on these and other topics throughout his YouTube, Instagram, and musical career regularly. In 2024, when President Trump was elected, Noah made a post stating that every time he went on tour to the US he met individuals who were directly impacted by anit-trans legislation and lack of reproductive rights, expressing he was sorry to all those who were affected.

“TOO SENSITIVE” is roughly based upon the story of “The Three Little Pigs”, and alludes to Noah's anti-MAGA stance, with lyrics “I’ve been looking out for the Big Bad Wolf” and “You can huff / You can puff / You can blow me down”.

In the music video, NOAHFINNCE is dressed as one of the pigs, while his drummer, Jake Alexander Pemberton, is dressed as the Big Bad Wolf chasing Noah around. Within twenty seconds of the video, we get close up shots of The Big Bad Wolf showing off patches on his jacket: “Protect The Pups”, “Not In My Woods”, “Ban Shape Shifters”, “Wolves Are Great Awooooo”, and a hat that says “WAGA”. All of these alluding to MAGA and the current political status of the United States of America.

Noah's storytelling by utilizing the nursery rhyme, “The Three Little Pigs”, is a unique and ambitious take on showcasing his worries about the US’s political climate. Though his music will probably not reach MAGA audience, it is entertaining to know they may one day unintentionally stream an anti-MAGA song.

In the comments section of the music video, fans stated the video gives off Twilight, Teen Wolf, and Buffy The Vampire Slayer vibes. Another fan stated that he “went from making songs with swears and mental health to songs about nursery rhymes” calling the song a “banger”. Though the song is less obvious about mental health struggles like in his previous single “MR OVERWHELM”, there are still lyrics that allude to it, “I’m too sensitive / I’m not built for this / Sick of being around” and parts in the music video where Noah looks into a broken mirror with his features disheveled aiding to the idea of self disgust.

With its punk vibe, killer guitar riffs, and heavy drums, “TOO SENSITIVE” would fit perfectly on a playlist alongside Machine Gun Kelly’s Tickets To My Downfall and Lil Huddy's Teenage Heartbreak.
