RATS - 'Hard To Find'
Liverpool lads RATS return with new electrifying single ‘Hard To Find’ ahead of their UK tour set to kick off this April.
Beacons of truth and importance of social issues, indie band RATS announce new single ‘Hard To Find’ set to release next week on the 14th March. The band have never shyed away from being political and sharing their beliefs backed by their vivacious music; and this new single is no different.
The track has a kind of ‘end of days’ quality to it, like The Specials’ Ghost Town but for a new generation of people continuing to be negatively affected by the state of our government. The piercing and raw
lyrics are hammered home by lead singer Joe Maddocks’ unmistakable and beautifully scouse vocals, that really pack a punch and make the song soar. The star of the show is without a doubt the bassline, that adds a Gorrilaz-esque feel to the tune and adds a slight sprinkling of ska to the mix.
‘Hard To Find’ may or may not be a preemptive look into a *wink wink* debut album release, but for now we have this electric track to tie us over. As well as this new single the band have also announced a UK tour that kicks off in Stockton on April 5th. So grab a ticket and stream ‘Hard To Find’ from March 14th from RATS - one of the most thrilling new bands on the scene right now.
