Oakland based band make their return with their latest single 'Care About' - a deep and personal anthem that was born from grief and rage in the wake of the tragic Club Q shootings. The track carries a strong message about empathy - challenging it's listeners.
Singer-guitarist Olivia Lee reflects on the track: “’when are you gonna care about…’ is a mantra and a dare: there’s no time like now!”
“Care About” is the third single from Pillowprince’s debut EP, pretty, baby!, due April 25th. Engineered by Ian Pellicci (Deerhoof, The Dodos) and mixed by Beau Sorenson (Death Cab for Cutie, Thao & The Get Down Stay Down), the EP explores themes of love, loss, rage, and identity with unflinching honesty.
