Indie pop artist Madeline enchants us with euphoric new single 'Your Own Kiss'.
The song introduces an upcoming collection of songs made by Madeline and producer Austin Ward (Willow Avalon, G-Eazy, and Umi). The track explores a new beginning for the artist - filling new spaces within their own pop world to bring something fresh to light.
"I wasn’t making music for most of 2024; I had split with my management and felt the need to explore other creative avenues. I found myself working on costuming for both feature films and shorts. It was the first time in a long time that I allowed myself to do something other than music, and I think doing that made my music much more interesting. I found myself drawn to the genres I’ve always loved, like electronic music and artists like Caroline Polachek, Madonna, and Moloko. Your Own Kiss is about the strength of a first kiss - intimate, transformative, and exciting. It can often symbolize a new beginning, so it felt like the right song for this new chapter."
Before her break, Madeline sold out her first headline show, released Gut Tug, her debut project, and her cover ofBruce Springsteen’s “Dancing In The Dark” passed over one million streams on Spotify.
