Mysie - ‘Gift’
Mysie has made her return with her first music of the year and is bringing the emotion on the new single ‘Gift’.
Music has always been a part of Mysie’s life, from growing up in South London right up to now as one of the brightest and most unique voices in British music today. She burst on the scene in 2019 with her debut EP ‘Chapter 11’ garnering attention far and wide and she continues to flex her creative muscles with every passing release.
‘Gift’ is her first piece of music for 2020, with more expected to come throughout the summer and sees her collaborate once again with Ducan Pym as she drives the limitless possibilities that comes with music. Opting for emotive synths and jazz percussion, it perfectly matches Mysie’s uniquely deep vocals as she tackles the pain of a controlling relationship.
Mysie certainly has a unique talent for making each release sound like a time stamp from her own life, focused more on the freedom that music makes her feel than being defined as one thing and an artist that is without limits artistically and how far that talent will take her.
