George Pelham - 'Good Thing Going'

Singer/songwriter George Pelham continues to build off the back of the popularity of his debut single with the release of ‘Good Thing Going’.

Though the British-American has been on the circuit for a number of years, declining the scouts of both The Voice and X factor to find his own voice, Pelham only released his debut single last month. ‘What A Time To Be Alive’ has proven popular with listeners having amassed well over 120k streams, and it is safe to say that Pelham has another hit on his hands.

Pelham has certainly cut his teeth on the live circuit right across the country, playing anything from Latitude Festival to the Pizza Express on London’s Dean Street. ‘Good Thing Going’ certainly draws inspiration from the 1950s/60s, with the clicking fingers leading a very catchy melody.

George certainly has a talent for not only his lyrics, but also his crisp and soaring vocals. ‘Good Thing Going’ is all about being “away from someone” but being stubborn and refusing to “give up on them.” The track certainly has deeper meaning, but accompanied by the upbeat melodies makes ‘Good Thing Going’ an easy listen over and over again and making George Pelham one to watch.
