Frederik Flach - 'Ebb'
Danish composer and pianist Frederik Flach explores the highs and lows of loneliness on chilling autumnal neo-classical composition, ‘Ebb’.
’Ebb’ is composed of moving, melancholic piano solo ,accompanied by the haunting sound of whistling wind flittering in and out of the track, seeing Frederik Flach sets a magnificently bleak scene that leaves a chill in its wake. ‘Ebb’ embodies the feeling of loneliness and isolation, it sounds like wanting to reach out, to connect with other people, but retreats at the breach, instead finding safety in solitude.
’Ebb’ is an introspective, soul searching song where Flach knows to be found you must first get lost; in melancholy, in nature, in memories, in deep thoughts and feelings. An evocative offering where the sentiment stays with you long after the music has ceased.
