Shanghai Blues – ‘On My Mind’

Shanghai Blues make their return and are bigger and better than ever with their latest single ‘On My Mind’.
Formed in East London by childhood friends James, Reece, James, and Mike, this band have found an upward trajectory some new bands can only dream of. Breaking big with 2018’s ‘Lies’, this band have been championed by the likes of the NME and have travelled the length and breadth of the country already with their electric live show which have also been sell outs.
Shanghai Blues have some time away from the spotlight following on from the success of ‘Lies’, and the time away has certainly shown in ‘On My Mind’ with more maturity in their songwriting and comfort in their soaring indie sound.
The repetitive lyricism is prominent throughout ‘On My Mind’ but is utilised in the best way, alongside striding guitar melodies which leave an emotional imprint and leave Shanghai Blues in an excellent position to continue their rise to one of the country’s most exciting prospects.
‘On My Mind’ is available now on all major streaming platforms and Shanghai Blues will play The Alternative Escape Festival on May 11th.
