Aeo - 'Rounds' — When The Horn Blows

South London, singer songwriter Aeo shares a melodic anthem about heart ache and manipulation on current single, ‘Rounds’.

Aeo takes a charming approach to heartbreak on melodically upbeat single, ‘Rounds’ which sees his rich, warm vocal soar out from anthemic backing vocals and blissful, sweeping production by Emmanuel AJ. Aeo is cultivating a sound inspired by pop, soul and RnB yet ‘Rounds’ marches to its own tune, exhibiting itself as an airy, flavoursome song that almost gives praise to recognising being mistreated in a relationship through its invigorating textures.

Whilst predominately a song inspired by hurt, ‘Rounds’ is a danceable, pure and touching song that finds empowerment in vulnerability. This is a track smoothly and maturely executed to evoke joy in its listener, despite its bittersweet bones, and it is a song affluent with the promise and peace found in trying to let go of what no longer serves you.

‘Rounds’ is one of the lead singles taken from Aeo's introductory EP due to be released in Spring 2020 and definitely sets the bar high for what is still to come.
