RAMES are blessing us with a plethora of jangly guitars with their infectious new single, ‘Won’t Be Long’.
London four piece RAMES have already been on quite a journey thus far since the release of their debut single, ‘Easy For You’ back in 2019. From cutting their teeth with demos to playing to hundreds in a debut sell out show in their hometown, the only way seems to be up for this quartet.
RAMES’ youthful exuberance is the main fuel that drives their guitar-led sound as well as catchy melodies and lyrics that makes it difficult to not sing along to. ‘Won’t Be Long’ is certainly no different to previous track’s like ‘She’s Gold’, with its blissful instrumental perfectly combined with a gritty yet soulful vocal performance.
Where ‘Won’t Be Long’ really shines is in its chorus, bringing pure euphoria with each repeat listen and reminiscent of the 80’s but with synths to bring it into the present and continues to elevate RAMES as one of the UK’s most talented prospects.
