RAMES have returned at just the right time to warm hearts and minds with their sophomore single ‘She’s Gold’.
It has already been quite the journey for this London four-piece having only formed in early 2019, and already supported the likes of Deco, The Manatees, and FLOWVERS up and down the country, capturing audiences and media alike with the release of their debut single ‘Easy For You’.
The quartet fit perfectly in the mould of the ever-growing indie-pop genre, following the likes of The Night Café and SPINN. Providing summery, shimmery melodies with infectious hooks, certainly we could all use right now, but ‘She’s Gold’ certainly looks to ensure that RAMES aren’t confined to a box.
Though staying with their signature sound, the jangly guitars give it a retro feel accompanied with a uniquely raspy vocal which makes it sound heavier and unique to what else is being released in the genre. ‘She’s Gold’ is the perfect follow up and sets RAMES off nicely as one of the country’s hottest bands to hit your radar this year.
